杜梦堂荣幸回归2023年「PAD LONDON」，展位号A18，呈现六位海外艺术家的近期最新创作精选。其中包括丹尼尔·达维欧(Daniel Daviau)最新铜雕作品，尚-马理·费欧理(Jean-Marie Fiori)的功能性雕塑，维克多·德·罗西(Victor De Rossi)和休伯特·勒加尔(Hubert Le Gall)的限量设计作品，鲁本·福恩特斯(Rubén Fuentes)的油画丙烯及水墨作品，以及雨果·席德(Ugo Schildge)最新的综合材料雕塑性绘画创作。

DUMONTEIL is delighted to announce its return to the 2023 PAD LONDON, booth A18, featuring the most recent works from six international artists, including Daniel Daviau's latest bronze sculptures, Jean-Marie Fiori’s functional sculptures, Hubert Le Gall's and Vitor De Rossi's limited design pieces, Rubén Fuentes's ink, acrylic and oil on canvas and Ugo Schildge's latest mixed-media sculptural paintings.

Devoting himself to bronze sculptures, Daniel Daviau focuses on the representation of animals, especially endangered species. Distinctly recognizable, Daviau’s sculptures are modern, sensitive, and full of emotions, with pure lines and composed elegance, demonstrating the superb quality of both bronze casting and "patina" handling skills.

The artist expresses with humour the majesty and captures the caricature attitude of his bestiary. The purity of his lines, and the subtle elegance of his design made him one of the most talented representatives of the old and illustrious family of the Animalists.

维克多·德·罗西（1991年生于巴黎）在一个艺术环境中长大，他的父亲是一位雕塑家和家具设计师。16岁时，维克托在烹饪界开辟了自己的道路。他加入了著名的巴黎餐厅。他在那里学到的纪律和严格要求塑造了他的工作态度。

自2016年起，艺术家在巴黎18区拥有了自己的工作室。维克多坚信，手工雕刻是在家具设计中找到原创造型的唯一途径。对材料的直接选购和塑性使物体具有有机感。艺术家直觉式的工作方式使每件作品都有独特的个性。

Victor de Rossi （b.1991, Paris) grew up in an artistic environment, his father being a sculptor and furniture designer. At sixteen, Victor carves his own path through the culinary world. He joins prestigious Parisian restaurants. The discipline and rigor he will learn there will shape his work ethic. 

Since 2016, Victor has a workshop in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. Victor strongly believes that manual carving is the only way to find truly original shapes in furniture design. The direct sourcing and manipulation of materials give the objects an organic feel. Victor’s intuitive way of working gives every piece a unique character.

尚-马理·费欧理的灵感主要源自高古文明(High Antiquity)，尤其是美索不达米亚文明的碑石、浮雕艺术，爱琴海地区基克拉泽斯文明的极简主义(Cycladic Minimalism)等，而其创作的野兽形象大多基于古希腊神话和寓言等典故，忠于其审美与文化修养。同时，费欧理的作品以当代的视野展现了鲜明的个人风格——既拥有神像般的庄严，又透着孩童般的纯真。

Jean-Marie Fiori's work is also inspired by heritages of the High Antiquity, particularly Mesopotamian Art and Cycladic Minimalism. Fiori's creations are associated with Ancient Greek mythologies and fables, Fiori's works remain true to his essential aesthetic and culture. A contemporary vision of his distinguishable personal style, Fiori's "beasts" are imbued with dignity and childlike purity, sincerity, and mischievousness, bringing heartfelt joy to the viewer.

Rubén Fuentes's works, combining acrylic, oil and traditional ink techniques, depict the origin of life through unique natural landscapes while demonstrating his long-term exploration and reflection as a defender of ecology. The artist questions dominant discourses of human-centred sustainability and attempts to create an otherworldly space between mythical and linear times with his poetic depiction influenced by Eastern and Western painting traditions.

And the methodical, deliberate thinking behind this technique contradicts and collides with the fragmented, rapid and intuitive expressions presented in the dreamscape.
